Another year, another series of module updates. The biggest development is that Global Challenges will be updated in light of the new Sustainability Minor. In order to graduate with a minor in Sustainability, you are required to complete three core modules:
- UOSM2010 Global Challenges
- UOSM2015 Sustainability in the Local and Global Environment (Only available to 2nd and 3rd year students)
- UOSM2005 Living with Environmental Change
and take an additional two optional modules from this list.
Global Challenges is being updated in order to ensure there is good integration between all the core and optional modules. The core content will remain largely unchanged. The main changes for 2014-15 will be (most probably) more guest lectures and (most probably) fewer but longer marked assessments. Drop-in sessions and coursework sessions will remain and (most probably) be increased.
